More than 1.2 million patents have been filed and published to date in the field of wireless technologies. When we look at the patent applications made regarding wireless patent applications in the last 5 years, it is observed that there has been an increase of 25%.

As a result of the applications made by the leading companies in the world to protect their inventions in Turkey, the list of companies that received the most patent registrations has been published.

Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa VARANK reported that 126.783 domestic industrial property applications were made to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) between January-June 2022.

According to WIPO's report published, Turkey ranked 3rd among the countries with the highest increase in PCTs (international patent applications) in 2021, with the highest number of international patent applications (PCT) made by China, USA and Japan.

According to information compiled from Turkish Patent and Trademark Institute (TÜRKPATENT) data, a total of 20,783 applications were submitted to the institution in 1995, including 1690 patents, 41 utility models, 16,194 trademarks and 2,858 designs.

Our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Kemal Yamankaradeniz, evaluated the number of trademark/patent applications made by the provinces in 2021.
