Uludağ University's Technology Transfer Office has signed its first license contract for its patents which were drawn up by Destek Patent.
Uludağ University's Technology Transfer Office (UU-TTO) continues to work on transforming academic knowledge into economic value without slowing down. Continuing its development with the 3rd Generation University vision, Uludağ University and UU-TTO produce values that will contribute to the region's and our country's economy.
Assuming an important role at the stage of bringing the technologies and products developed within the scope of University - Industry cooperation into the economy, UU-TTO ensures that the knowledge and technology produced in the University is brought into the economy swiftly.
Developed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamil Salihoğlu, faculty member at Engineering Faculty's Environmental Engineering Department, as a result of long-lasting works since his doctorate study, and with the patent drawn up and obtained by Destek Patent, the technology named "Drying System Using Renewable Energy Resources" was licensed to Orakçı Makina İmalat İthalat İhracat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. by Uludağ University's Technology Transfer Office. The patented drying system produced within the framework of license contract, will be used in the Purchase of Mud Drying System with Renewable Energy Resource, by Orhaneli Waste Water Treatment Facility, which is within the body of Bursa Water and Sewerage Administration General Directorate (BUSKI). In the second stage, it is aimed to have this developed technology in international market in the shortest possible time. Endeavors in this regard continue without interruption.
