Law Amendment to the Processes of Intellectual Property Rights

The obligation to submit a notarized signature declaration or circulary note to TURKPATENT in the transaction processes regarding Intellectual property rights has been removed.
In the regulation on the implementation of the Intellectual Property Rights law, which entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated 08.07.2019 and numbered 30825, the obligation to submit a notarized signature statement for the real person and the circular of signature for the legal person has been removed in cases of loss of rights regarding Intellectual property rights (for example, partial renewal of trademark, partial or complete withdrawal of the trademark application, partial or full waiver of the registration, withdrawal of the objection, etc.).
