EPO (European Patent Office) released data on patent applications in 2019.

According to European Patent Office data, one of the most popular tech manufacturers in the recent period, Chinese tech giant Huawei is the company with the most patent applications filed in 2019.

According to the European Patent Office, Huawei applied for a total of 3.524 patents in 2019.

The second company following Huawei is Samsung with 2.858 patent applications, while LG came third with 2.817 patent applications. LG was followed by United Technologies with 2.813 applications, Siemens with 2.619 applications, Ericsson with 1.668 applications, Royal Phillips with 1.542 applications, Sony with 1.512 applications, and Robert Bosch with 1.498 applications, respectively.
