The First Prototype of the Ventilator Invented in Turkey

Due to the fact that there more patients than usual in hospital because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the number of certain medical supplies and devices have become insufficient. Directly targeting the lungs, coronavirus makes it difficult for patients to breathe, which leads ventilators to be the least sufficient medical devices. For this reason, Arçelik and Biosys Biyomedikal recently started to develop domestic ventilators in collaboration with ASELSAN and Baykar Savunma. Selçuk Bayraktar, Technical Manager of Baykar Savunma, shared the video of the first prototype of this ventilator ready for mass production.
