A Long-term cooperation agreement has been signed between the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) and the International Trademarks Association (INTA).

The contact covers; developing programs and special cooperation projects related to trademarks, industrial designs, geographical indications and related fields, resolving disputes, enforcing trademark rights, exchanging information in accordance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, developing joint projects to increase awareness in the field of IP, organizing education sessions and seminars.

Japan based technology company Sony registered the patent of the artificial intelligence that watches, learns users' playing style, and plays the game when requested. Determining the challenging chapters for the user, and expected to have the user play them, the artificial intelligence examines the behaviors of the user when she/he plays a chapter over and over again and fail to pass to the next chapter, and records this style.

Japan Patent Office approved the registration of the "Eagle" logo of which application was made by the ASAHI Golf Co. to be used in the goods in the 9., 25., and 28. classes in 2020. Armani filed a partial objection against the registration of ASAHI's trademark that carries the eagle logo and demanded the registration be cancelled since there can be confusion and similarity with Armani's eagle logo when it is used on the clothes that are in the 25th class.
