Azerbaijan's Intellectual Property Agency Expands 'Open Register' to Include Industrial Designs, Trademarks, and Geographical Indications

The Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues to take measures to ensure transparency and accessibility. As reported, some time ago the Register of Industrial Property Objects ("Open Register") developed by the Agency was put into operation. Until now, information on inventions and utility models was entered into the "Open Register". Now, after the latest update, information on industrial designs, trademarks and geographical indications has also been included in the "Open Register".

It is already possible to search for information on the registration of all the mentioned industrial property objects in the Register of Industrial Property Objects. Anyone can obtain information in advance about whether there are national registrations corresponding to an industrial property object through free access to the "Open Register".
