On 31.01.2024, for the first time, the Eurasian patent for an industrial design became the subject of a contract for the pledge of exclusive rights to an object of intellectual property. We remind you that the Eurasian industrial design patent is not the only way to protect your exclusive right to an original solution to the appearance of the product in seven countries at the same time on the basis of one single patent. A Eurasian patent is also an intangible asset of the patent owner, who has the right to transfer the exclusive right to an industrial design to another person or to issue a pledge in relation to it, as well as to grant the right to use an industrial design under a license agreement.
