Kazakhstan Introduces Accelerated Examination Option for Trademark Applications

From April 2024, Kazakhstan provides applicants with the opportunity to reduce the time of consideration of a trademark application from seven to three months in the order of accelerated examination. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account that during the examination, conventional applications are not taken into account, therefore, in the case of identifying an application with conventional, exhibition and (or) other priority, the trademark may be canceled. At the same time, the amount paid by the applicant is not returned.
