SAIP has revamped procedures, altering Saudi Arabia's IP protection approach. Notably, the 10-day grace period for amending rejected trademark applications is eliminated. SAIP now promptly rejects trademarks failing formal and legal criteria. Applicants must appeal within a non-extendable 60-day window. Thus, meticulous evaluation before submission is crucial to avoid rejection.
