According to the amended Patents, Industrial Designs, Integrated Circuits, and Plant Varieties Law No. 197, issued by the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) on September 19, 2023, the duration of protection for industrial designs has been prolonged from ten (10) to fifteen (15) years.
