Vivo granted the patent of their recently developed camera, which is designed for flagship phones. Vivo’s patent to the World Intellectual Property Rights Office (WIPO) reports the existence of a new flagship smartphone. The patent noted that existing smartphones only support “low zoom functionality.” In this regard, the new Vivo smartphone patent can achieve “little convergence” autonomy of existing smarts. Therefore, the new Vivo smartphone patent may achieve “high zoom function”. In other words, Vivo hopes to make it possible for smartphones to have a wider zoom range thanks to its patented camera system.
