Turkey's First Domestic Intelligence Test
"Anatolian-Sak Intelligence Scale", Turkey's first domestic intelligence test which was developed in Eskişehir through the cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Anadolu University, was introduced to the public.
Stating the importance of the first domestic intelligence test for the future, Ministry of Education Special Education and Guidance Services Department Head Veysel Öztürk said "We realized the importance of the domestic intelligence test since 2014. We are honored to cooperate with Anadolu University on this subject."
"This test is very important because it is our first domestic test. If we stumble here, if we experience problems in the work here, this country will not dare to create a similar test for 10 more years", Öztürk said: "That's why you need to show great responsibility and dedication. ASIS must develop very clearly, very quickly, and strongly. There have been important changes in regards to intelligence tests in Turkey for the last 2 years. Turkey unfortunately has shown inadequate sensitivity to the individuals who need special education, for the gifted children. However, we have been doing important work for the last 2 years."
