Google Supports Renewable Energy

Internet giant Google has announced that it will utilize renewable energy in all its buildings around the world.

With 22 renewable energy investments worth $2.5 billion in Germany, the USA and Kenya, Google will triple its renewable energy purchases by 2025.

According to the press release on the company's website, solar and wind energy projects and renewable energy purchases will triple by 2025.

All company buildings around the world will be powered by clean energy. The newly installed 842 megawatts of clean energy power will be obtained from a solar power plant in Chile and a wind farm in Sweden.

The company has 22 renewable energy investments worth $2.5 billion in Germany, America and Kenya. Other technology companies such as Facebook and Apple have also announced that they will invest in renewable energy.
