We received the first signals of the developments in smart automobile technologies in CES 2016. Now, the motorbikes are becoming smart too. Samsung and Yamaha, the greatest companies of their sectors, have teamed up with the aim of developing smart motorbikes and ensure the safety of riders.

Even though it is not the first attempt of smart screen technology in motorbikes, Samsun-Yamaha collaboration is of greater importance in terms of the new technologies it involves. In the system called Smart Windshield, basic information is placed on the screen in front of the motorbike. The information is conveyed through the little screen placed in the front glass of the motorbike. Users can access information including navigation, messages, calls, and e-mails on this screen. A system has been developed to enable the rider to automatically answer messages while riding the motorbike. The aim is to ensure road safety. Even though the system has been announced only as a concept, it is possible that we will see smart motorbikes soon.
