Turkish Inventors Got Awards in Geneva!
In the 44th Geneva International Invention Exhibition, which was organized in Geneva, Switzerland between April 13-17, 2016 3 of our inventors, introduced by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in the exhibition, won 2 gold and 1 bronze medals in their category after being evaluated by an international jury consisting of 85 experts.
In the exhibition, which was organized under the patronage of World Intellectual Property Rights Organization (WIPO) with the participation of around 700 inventors from 40 countries, unique and new inventions that involve high-technology and offer practical daily life solutions in various areas were introduced by their inventors.
In the exhibition, the inventions and inventors introduced at the stand of Turkish Patent and Trademark Office drew the attention of the visitors.
The inventors, who returned from the exhibition with awards, their inventions and awards are as follows:
Inventor: Adem ARIBAŞ & Gürçağ ÖZLER
Invention: Foldable brick with detachable wall building system.

Summary of the Invention:
This invention is about a brick system that constructs a room or an area with a demounted, block-based structure, and detached surface pieces. Easily foldable modular brick system, subjected to the invention, is aimed at constructing wall, board, panel, room etc. by interlocking on top of each other, especially in an alternative new section/room that can replace drywall in fair stands and home/office. The brick is formed by interlocking elastic and stringed "L" shaped joints that enable surface material to fold in, and elastic and stringed "U" shaped joints that enable surface material to fold out. Any 3-dimensional section, room or area can be formed with independent bricks interlocking on top of each other from the interlocking part and the lock slot area where the round part of the box is attached upside down, in other words, female-male.

Invention: Information board structure that enables control at junctions.

Summary of the Invention: It is an information board structure which increases the control by informing the drivers beforehand about the current situation of the traffic light they are approaching, minimizes the possibility of drivers to drive through red light, and prevent cars that have the priority of way from waiting at red light. It is about a management control unit which manages and controls all the traffic lights according to the signal plan that has all the information regarding which color on which pole will turn on when and for how long, an information board which is in communication with the relevant management control unit and gives drivers information about the current status of the junctions through the data it receives from the management control unit, and a communication agent which enables cars with the priority of way to exchange data.

Invention: Valved package with an elastic inner bag for liquids with low fluidity rate

Summary of the Invention: This invention is an inner package structure that enables products with low fluidity rate including food products such as ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard etc, and non-food products to be emptied through a hole easily so that no food remains in the package, and does it with no air contact. It includes a valve mechanism that is placed inside the cover and prevents air release when squeezed, and takes air back into the tank once released, and an aseptic inner bag that is placed inside the flexible tank and keeps the product in an air-proof environment.
