KOSGEB will provide funds up to 250 thousand liras to the companies that develop games, products, mobile applications, and software in information technologies. A new one has been added to the supports for the game industry, which has recently reached a success with new products developed and has an important potential for export. Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkey (KOSGEB) will provide funds up to 250 thousand liras to the companies that develop games, products, mobile applications, and software in information technologies.
Aiming to develop sectors that produce high added-value in the market, Turkey wants to make use of opportunities that information technologies offer. For this purpose, economy management supports the operations in information technologies with various mechanisms.
KOSGEB contributes to the efforts put in this matter with Call for Proposal for Small and Medium Size Enterprises in Information Technologies. In this way, Small and Medium Size Enterprises, which operate in information technologies, are aimed at developing numerical content and products, commercializing information technologies such as product/game/mobile application/software, increasing their share and efficiency in economy, and raising their added value and competitiveness.

The targets of the call are operations that are classified as "manufacture of computers, electronic and optic products", "computer programming, consultancy and relevant operations", and "data processing, hosting, and relevant operations and web portals".
Among the topics of projects, which are suitable to benefit from the fund, are "Developing new software, game and mobile applications", "Improving production process and quality of IT enterprises, and developing production capacity and capability", "Processes created with the idea of a new product, service, application, or business model that can be offered to the existing markets or open up new ones", "Increasing efficiency in using new technologies", "Increasing efficiency in design and new product development", "Projects for starting or increasing export".
After the evaluation of applications that will be made by the end of the month, the projects that meet the criteria will be given non-refundable 100 thousand liras, and refundable 150 thousand liras which make a total of 250 thousand liras. The total budget of the call is almost 50 million liras.
